ONLY AN HOUR’S DRIVE FROM DARWIN
Halfway between Darwin and Kakadu, Mary River Park allows you to
travel in comfort and take time-out to appreciate the diversity of the
landscape.
A TRUE WILDERNESS
The park boasts a 3km frontage to the Mary River and is a sanctuary
for both woodland and wetland flora and fauna. Approximately covering
over 300 kilometers into the heartland of Kakadu, and with a catchment
area of over eight thousand square kilometers, the Mary River has a
permanent human population of less than thirty who call its bank’s
home. Mary River Park is host to an amazing amount of wildlife: birds
of prey, a profusion of waterfowl, wallabies, water buffalo, dingos,
lizards, snakes, salt water crocodiles, and not to mention enough species
of fish to fill a scientific volume, it is rare to find wildlife so
quiet and plentiful.
And it’s only an hours drive from the Northern Territory’s capital
city, Darwin!
Mary
River Park, also boasts a 50-60 person conference room, and we
are able to cater for all your
conference needs. For further information on
our conference facilities and our services please don't hesitate
